memory card reader r used in newer laptop for on-the-fly storage like sd card n so on.those reader can b built-in or external usb connection .

A lot of the newer laptops are coming with built in SD and Flash Card Readers. This means that you can but a normal flash of SD memory stick and plug it directly into your computer.

If your computer doesn't have a slot then you can't use it.

If it does then just buy the correct card and insert it into the correct slot.

Yes, most newer laptops today have a built-in multimedia card reader slot reader already. good thing so that your MMC or SC card can be just plugged and play onto your unit laptop. If you dont have these, you can still buy an external card reader that plugs on to USB
