I have about 4 or five of the same songs of Kelly clarkson and James Blunt when I only really want one in my library but I don't see a delete button anywhere. Please help...no wisecracks please lol....I know I am not the best of computer users...its my old age you see lol

GO to the librar,y, click on the song and press the delete button on the keyboard

If you're in iTunes, it's really easy. Just click on "Library" so you have your entire collection active, then click on View > Show duplicates. That should bring up all of the duplicated tracks in your library so you can cherry-pick which ones you want to keep and which you want to bin!

What programme you using? I think the easiest way in any program is to just select the song, and then press the delete key on your keyboard.

highlight the track (click on it with your left mouse button).
make sure the mouse cursor is somewhere on the highlighted item.
left click on the item and a menu should appear.
select 'delete' on that options list.

short cut is highlight the track and press 'delete' on your keyboard.

if its wmp right click ,scroll down, delete
