Use a solution of 2 parts water, 1 part vinegar and 1 part rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle. Depending on how dirty the windows are, you may have to increase the amount of vinegar and alcohol.

Don't clean them in direct light. The cleaner will dry to fast and leave streaks.

Wash them before hand with water and soap if needed.

Wipe one side vertically and the other side horizontally. That way you can tell witch side has the streaks.

Vinegar and water is good to use to. You just need a small amount of vinegar in water, but I recommend this for the outside only.

Don't let the cleaner sit on the window for a long time. And you don't need a lot either. Evenly spray the window with just enough to clean it and wipe it as fast as you can. The longer you let it sit the more streaks you will get.

Clean on a cloudy day, the sun dries the cleaner too fast and leaves streaks.

Use Windex and newspaper.

hello,
I use this in the car windows so it should work for homes.
Aerosol spray glass cleaner and newspaper. Together they work wonders. Even cigarette smoke comes out well.
I'm not sure it will work with Windex, i've never tried. If you do let me know how it turns out.
Best of luck
God bless

Streaks is simply the glass cleaner still on the glass. Everything can be streak-free as long as you wipe off all of the glass cleaner off the glass.

Use newspapers to clean your windows. My husband is a captain on a river boat and they are very strict about the boat being perfectly clean and he told me about this and i tried it and it really does work.
