The weather around the world changes because of these basic factors:
1. The atmosphere is mostly transparent to visible light.
2. The earth rotates.
3. Water is present in large quantities in 3 phases on earth: solid, liquid, and gas.
4. Water has a higher heat capacity than dry air.
In addition, the weather changes dramatically over the year because the earth's axis is tilted relative to its orbit.
Climate describes the average characteristics of the weather at a place, and weather describes the instantaneous ones.

We live and breathe in a blanket of air known as the atmosphere. The atmosphere is constantly moving and changing all around the earth. These changes are called the weather. The studies of weather is called meterology.
No matter if it's rainy, snowy, stormy, or warm and sunny, weather affects everyone all the time! That's why the science of weather, or meteorology, is so important!

Day to day weather is affected mainly by convection, that is the warming of air near the surface of the earth so that it rises and is replaced by cooler air from above.
Monthly and seasonal weather changes are caused by the tilt of the Earth.
