Where are the forged documents, the leaked memos, the Jayson Blairs? Where are the folks comparing their political enemies to Holocaust deniers? Why did they let Bill O'Reilly go after the oil companies for high gas prices?
I still think they have a lot to learn from CBS and the New York Times . . .
Time to stir the pot! :)

So Rather's smear campaign was the Republicans' fault???!!!
Why didn't he listen to his document experts?
That was a good one . . .

A good question really, even though you admit you're stirring the pot!
Forged documents? You're probably talking about the CBS -- Dan Rather -- Bush was AWOL thing? Dan had one put over on him, didn't he. I wonder which political party had the most to gain by deceiving and discrediting Rather?
Fox beats everything on your list. Did you know that the news teams and talk show hosts are given Republican talking point memos at the beginning of their shifts and they must work them into their news reporting and interviews? Therefore, nearly every show is tainted, every day -- it's not just your occasional Rather snafu or unqualified affirmative action reporter.

I think the concern is not that Fox news does not do anything right. The main concern is that Fox news has been damaging the relitively neutral National media image by insane propaganda techniques. Introducing one political agenda, orchestrating fake discussions by having 2-3 very storng republicans and a single pathetic credential owning democrat on board and then portraying speculations and imaginations as truth without backing up by facts etc. All this hurting long eastablished golden rules of journalism, fearing someone that over period of time Fox news will be able to eastablish this kind of Jounalistic coercison as golden rule for success driving everybody into it !!!

Fox just makes it up as they go along. If they thought they could get eyeballs by proclaiming the world was flat, they'd do it. They don't even have the energy too keep their lies straight. Or make up evidence. Bill O'Reilly is going to blow a blood vessel soon if he doesn't take anger management lessons and get his blood pressure down. Too bad I won't see it. OK I will see pictures in the new York times day after.
I too, agree that the BBC is a good source of news. also the Canadian Radio.

Fox is just poorly run. It's like watching an episode of the Jerry Springer show. Like another answerer said, it's kind of sad that the networks are starting to become so biased. They've usually leaned a certain way, but I never recall it being so bad. The "path to 911" was really horrible also as far as that goes. I watched like 20 minutes before I had to turn it because it was so terribly slanted. Want to see an interesting clip showing how biased they are?

Of the so called news networks, Fox is probably the worst when it comes to lying by distortion, omission, and jingoistic rhetoric.
Those viewers who swallow their content are being led by politically motiviated propagandists. You are better off with the BBC or NPR.

Fox is bias, but it certainly is lacking the malicious bias of the NYT. They lag behind on the kajones necessary to find anonymous leaks that are always on the Democrat side that the NYT is just famous for. How about that NIE report?

Your question makes no sense and it is a contradiction in itself.
FOX News is the best in the world at being biased.
It's the American equivalent of Tass and Pravda.
It's well-balanced, I'll say that for it.
It's insane AND retarded.

Pawn.
Fox News is a PRIVATELY OWNED propaganda machine. They don't need to FAKE their poison, only train their audience in code words, special phrases and slanted meanings of common words in order to transmit their hatred.
Parse this: "Liberals want to cut and run, not stay the course, and fight for freedom against Al Qaeda in Iraq."
That gobbledy-go-ok makes perfect sense to a FoxNews fan, but to anyone else with two brain cells to rub together, it is utter prolefeed.
Put that in your manifesto and smoke it, tool.

Fox News is simply inferior. Their news is for those who don't want to get the full story or hear any other opinions regarding the global situation.
I prefer BBC over American news sources.
