The capital city is Tokyo. Japan and Thailand are the only two Asian countries that were never conquered. The staple diet is rice, fish and a soup called Miso soup. The language has three alphabets. 1. Kata-kana. This is used for foreign words. 2. Hiragana and 3. Kanji, that's the Chinese pictograph characters you see everywhere in Japan. The Prime Minister is Juichiro KOIZUMI, nice man.

japanese females are not marrying and realizing that with educating they do not need to depend on a man and love their freedom and are choosing the more american approach in living with parents then saving up to live on their own and living single and happy. NO need to depend on a man or answer to a man or serve a man or be passive. they are changing their culture with women getting same jobs as men and reaching equality.

they got their ideas from china: paper, writing,silk,artistic style *painting flower/birds etc*

took the ford car model and improved on it.
took the digital watch which was designed in america and truly sucked and had flaws but japan bought the idea improved it and came up with CASIO which was very popular in the 80's

due to japanese girls not marrying japanese men. their growth is hindered and they are for once letting non-japanese men move in to marry their women and possibly increase their numbers though they'll be half nuts
