I think it is not good to go out with his ex partner because he has already have another relation ship so he must leave all the past behind.

I'm in a similar boat...
Here's a trick: do exactly the same thing. You go out with an ex (even if you don't, tell him you are) and if he doesn't like it then you know he's got a guilty conscience. If he's fine with it, the chances are everything's okay and they're just friends.

It would have to depend if there were any kids involved. If there were kids, then yes, it is normal for there to be some kind of a relationship. there should be anyway for the kids sake. If there are no kids involved, then no definately not. Especially if you let it known that u don't like it. If you ask him to stop, and he doesn't , then get rid of him.

NO!!!! Been through that with my partner at the start of our relationship and it turned out they were still sleeping together!!!! Dont let them do it, tell him/her its either you or them they cant have both!Plus thats one way to find out how they really feel about you. xx

NO that is very bad!!! They can stay friends, so don't try to stop them being friends. But they shouldn't date. If they ever go 'out on the town' together you should be going with them.

if he knows it upsets you then no, I have a great frindship with an age old exwe go out for dinner and stuff, if I with someone I'll always check they vare ok with it and if not tone it down or invite them along as well, like I would with my male friends

It's his ex so that should mean their finished. If they had kids together sure they would have to communicate with each other but to go out with her......... defiantly not.
