Everybody says Rooney is a great talent and so on. But what has he shown on the pitch? Nothing but for a few crucial red cards for England and his stinking club. What he does on the pitch in fact players like Gerrard, Hargreaves and Joe Cole does better. He doesn't score enough goals for club and country, does not have enough assists. So what is his worth? I think he is the most overated player today. Look at players like Hargreaves, Joe Cole, Gerrard, Xabi Alonso and John Terry. They do it week in week out, be it club or country.

Rooney is the best playa in the younger generation of English players. It is true he is hot-headed but that happens when you are young. Even David Beckham got himself red-carded in the 1998 world cup and England lost that match. I'm sure Rooney has a long way to go. You should not underestimate him.

You know your spelling sucks.

But yes, I agree with you, Rooney is an overpaid arrogant little **** who can't control his temper. He is one of the very few people i would enjoy kicking hard in the bum.

Perhaps he should go play in a team in Spain or elsewhere, where he will be treated like any other player, not a god.

Well yes he has a bad temper all right. All though the refereeing in that match, England vs. Portugal was severely flawed.

He is greatly overated, and the English side have been playing, and winning, quite well without him in the team.....

even if ppl do consider him that, it's still not nice to say it...at least it's only in one's opinion, thankfully. And even if he actually is, which I don't believe he is, I still think he is very talented, which to me, is all that matters.
