It´s Sachin Tendulkar who scored the 1st official century in Malaysia. He scored 141 not-out against West-Indies in the 2nd ODI of the DLF-Cup-2006. It was a rain-interrupted match. But West-Indies won the match by 29 runs (D/L method). Needed 310 to win, West-Indies scored 140 from 20 overs for the loss of 2 wickets, and it started to drizzle and the officials had to declare the match in the favor of West-Indies, because they needed to score 113 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 20 overs. But still, Tendulkar won the Man-Of-The-Match award for his dazzling Innings.
Note: Shiv Chanderpaul missed a century in the opening game of the same tournament, against Australia.
Michael Hussey became only the 2nd century-maker (after Tendulkar) at that venue.
