It was discovered in a university laboratory where to many male rats were placed in the same cage that homosexual activity began to occur. When the number of rats decreased the activity stopped.
In dogs Homosexual activity is a show of domination over the other dog.
"Basically I'm the big dog here and I can humiliate you in front of the whole pack."

Well Jorja, lets use you as the example. Did mom or dad have to teach you to like boys? No. (probably) You liked boys naturally.
I don't think that people are gay because someone thought it would be funny to teach their kid to love the same sex. Gays probably weren't taught to love their same sex. If anything, they were taught that they should love the opposite sex, but it feels WRONG to them.
If being homosexual were not cause by Nature, then why do some religious families produce gay kids? The family isn't promoting a gay lifestyle. But some kids are gay anyway. So it isn't nurture. It must be Nature. It can't be something in the water or the food. Everyone in the household would be affected the same way. Think about it.

Actually the scientists are saying that homosexuality is in the person's genes. They are that way from conception. Nothing to do with nature or nurture. And no matter how you bring that person up, they will always have that urge in the pit of their stomach to be as they were genetically put together.

It's not normally the parents fault why their son(s) becomes a homo. It mostly has something to do with the environment and the people around him. It's difficult to believe that their homosexuality was caused by nature. An example of this is my bully-buddy in elementary. He shockingly became a gay when he entered college! It was unimaginable. What the hell made him become a gay? Nature? Nuture? But I suspect he was rather influenced by his 2 gay flatmates where he was boarding then. As far as I can remember, he said that he was uncomfortable living with them in the beginning -- he mostly object their behavior. But what the hell happened?

It can be partly caused by hormones. Scientific studies have already proved that many bisexual women and men have more hormonal issues and shifts in a day, week, month, etc. than heterosexual people; there have also been studies about gay men and women responding differently to male and female pheremones than do straight men and women.
I'd have to get personal to say anything else.

homosexuals are more "nurturing" and a high percentage of them have an older sibling. it could be an evolutionary stable strategy to have all subsequent siblings nurture the first's offspring. nature's currency is measured in genetic replication, afterall, irrespective of our need for ethics and epiphenomenonalism.

It occurs in animal populations when the population gets too high for an area to support. That said, the earth is bearing down on seven billion people.

Why do you think that homosexuality needs to be validated? They are who they are. Many people accept it, myself included. You can't help who you love or what you find sexual. If we were meant to understand the way everything worked we would have been given handbooks with all the answers.

the reason you've a closed minded worldview is as a results of your genes and the environments impression on them as you grew up. you do not come to a decision who you're, nature comes to a decision. you're born with a set of genes, then the ambience determines which ones get grew to change into on and off. each function of an organism is determined through genes and gene expression, in different words: each human function is with regards to genes and for this reason homosxuality must be with regards to genes.

I thought that it was from a lack of a chromosome??
Am i wrong??
Personally i say each to their own, although i am uncomfortable watching Gay couples kissing!!!
I once stumbled in to a mini Gay Mardi Gras in Soho, where all these couples were kissing and hugging and i was really embarrassed, like i was looking at something i shouldn't have been. It was after this i realized that i should really try and find some Gay friends and get desensitized.
