I feel there are VERY FEW role models in this world for girls....?

Who do you think are some GOOD role models for young girls now and days?

Also, who do you think is the worse role model that girls seem to pick now and days?

The worse one is the one that get's in alot of trouble. I am my kid's role modles and they can and they do tell me anyting they say I am a cool mom because I don't yell or blame we work it out if you want to talk we can just be careful you kid's are the FURTURE and that is what makes you all SPECIAL

I think Condolzeea Rice is the best role model for girls these days. She has proven that with hard work and determination - not showing skin or marrying a rock star that a woman can be respected and powerful.

Pretty much any 'young' actresses are poor role models. Same with singers. They're entertainers, not role models.

BEST-Although she is very old,Sandra Day o'Connor SHOULD be a role model for girls. I think Pink is a great role model for her way of thinking. Mainly I think girls should look up to people close to them who are sucessful and driven and independent.

Worst-Paris Hilton,and Lindsay Lohan tie in my book. These two are completely so far detached from reality it is pathetic.

I will say this for all girls who will listen,my own mother once gave me the best advice a mother could give her daughter,she said,"Never rely on a man,ever. Get an education,live life ,travel and be sucessful. Marriage is a wonderful thing as long as you do it for the reason that you want an equal partner to share your life with."

Most girls in the media are bad role models. You see all the new teen singers out there dresssing as if they're 30? What up with that?!

There is little hope for kids of today. :(
