Freeze solid.
Instead of "hard boiled" it would be "hard frozen"; an egg popsicle!

Strange answers have been provided.
The answer is that it would boil, explode and then freeze or burn depending on the distance from the sun. The same would happen to a human being. The reason:
Space is a near-vacuum. Without the pressure of an atomosphere, the boiling point of the fluids change rapidly. In a human, or an egg, the fluid would immediately boil with the lack of pressure. The boiling of the fluid into a gas would cause additional pressure on the inside causing it to explode. Once the fluid is boiled off and the gas is blown away, the remaining chunks will freeze or burn. The shadow of Earth is very cold and the sun shine around Earth's orbit is pretty warm.

uhm. nothing? its not very hot in space as everyone thinks. there is no atmosphere for heat to travel. though radiation travels in vacuum, the egg is too small to contain capture and contain large amounts of radation for it to explode. And neither will it freeze solid. It's not cold in space either. Why, astronauts' space suits would freeze if it were so. It wont explode 'coz of pressure either. The egg does not contain anything in it too pressured to make it explode if air would not counter its force inwards.

depends on the conditions, if you let it out in a space shuttle, it can probably hatch, though if you just leave it in well, plain space, well, I don't know what will happen to it because, you know, space is undescribable.
