Who was the author that said that people are sheep, that if they are under influence of mass they do like the other, like the mass, like the other group and they don't think on their own?
Thanks!

Yes they are sheep , even if our brain is more developed we are like animals that act upon impulse , watch a group of birds , they know the way because they fly in group , impulse is what makes people go together and act like sheep unless we become totally objective we will always be like sheep that is why leaders have been able to manipulate us to go to wars and to kill each other ,, even if we try to conceive things objectively we will always be subjective affected by society's teachings and act impulsively according to each one's group

Read "Animal Farm," by George Orwell.

The "sheep" represent the masses, the presumptuous fools that feel they must belong and repeat slogans and propaganda without knowing or understanding the full significance of what they're repeating! They are the masses that are easily herded by demagogues.

I think that was one of those West Virginia farmers. And the saying was,
"Sheep are just like a woman only they don't need to cuddle afterwards."
