I like to read (out loud) whatever the person sitting next to me is reading. I usually do it in stupid voices or sing.
Either that or I make a running commentary of everyone on the bus. That usually makes the time fly by.

I might try that next time I'm on the bus or train. I usually read silently or listen to my iPod. I was listening to French lessons on my iPod and I kept wanting to repeat the words out loud, so I had to quit lest I annoy my fellow passengers

In the car I listen to books on tape that I get from the local library. It really makes long car trips go by fast. You could get a personal tape or cd player and some head phones and listen.

yes, i would imagine the time going by rather quick like that. prolly not as fast you have to be once the bus stops though...lol. For me, it is quality time playing my Gameboy or PSP.

i think that what you do is brilliant, but i guess that you do not live in london...you will get punched in the face! i usually sleep or read harry potter books... i have a nintendo DS, i would love to be able to bring that round with me, but they will probably steal it!
