Um... I don't know. Maybe people who claim to have seen UFO's have had a few too many beers or are just plain hallucinating.

Satellites have taken images...

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric (NOAA) has several Geosynchronous Orbiting Satellites in orbit watching the Earths weather and environment. On November 21, 1999 at 14:45 hours, one of the satellites caught an amazing photo of a UFO at an estimated hundred miles above the Earth off the state of Washington.

One of the satellites is designed to detect water vapour or clouds from space and when its camera was zoomed in, it was apparent that the craft was giving off vapour. The possibility of a computer error causing the image was completely ruled out . The UFO was present for several minutes and was a structure which radiated heat in the infrared spectrum. It was obviously very large. Similar photos were taken on June 8 , 1995 over South America.

Satalites do see UFO's. Satalites and Space missions both constantly view phenomina they cannot provide a suitable explanation for. NASA has said this much publically on more than one occasion. The reasons people see UFOs more often is that there are Trillions of us, our eyes are working 16 hours a day and are better at picking out things in our environment that appear strange than a camera with limited pitch in a fixed position.

It just proves the point that there is no such thing as a UFO - like I've always maintained. If there were such things as UFOs, wouldn't it be a lovely present for one of them to take back home with them - a satellite! Wowee, wouldn't they have a party!!!

Not that I'm a believer in UFO's but pilots in the early days used to report lightning far up in the atmosphere which was thought impossible, for year s they were pooped as seeing things,, then they turned the sats to look and so it was confirmed. Could be they just ain't bothered looking for em or they just don't want anyone to know. also like capricorn 1 thsat vanhallen belt (can't spell soz) is supposedly impenatrable yet we went to the moon, didn't we and the flag flew ! guess what i'm trying to say is sometimes seeing is the only way to believe ... sometimes

i wager component of that relies upon on what's contained in the unidentified flying merchandise. :P I watched the 'First guy on the Moon' documentary and Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrich suggested seeing unidentified flying merchandise's at the same time as in area. I have considered many expenditures in documentaries from pilots and military workers and this leads me to trust they are seeing something originating from technologies no longer created through human beings. It does no longer conflict with my Christianity because i'm gentle with the actual shown reality that i do no longer understand each little thing about God's advent in spite of the indisputable fact that it does pastime me. i'm inquisitive about what's going to be accessible.
