I agree with above answer, the easiest way to get famous - or in this case infamous is to do something really really nasty.
Opening fire on a crowd would certainly get you front page news headlines, but at what cost?
Aside from the fact that killing people is really not very nice, the chances are that the only place you would be enjoying your fame would be from a prison cell.
Another way to get famous these days would appear to be either to present yourself on a tv show or make an album, god knows half the people in the charts can't sing, so why not give that a go, no talent required.

Get a ticket to one of these day time talk shows with a small audience like Kilroy, while in the audience,, quickly pull down your trousers & take a dump in your hand, throw the turd at Kilroy or the guests, now follow through by shouting abolish TV licences!!

By accident. i dont think there is an easy way to get famous. invent a cure for AIDS and save a quarter of the worlds population, rather than killing a few people.

I suppose you could do a one man protest about something and get all the TV stations to come along and hear your points of view or try to get on that daft programme Big Brother.

There is no easy or quick way it takes alot of hard work and takes a while to become famous.
