Knowing what we are, it is difficult to believe that our omnipotent God can ever indulge in such crass imperfection of making creatures even incapable of believing. If God made us, He should have given us belief - if we made Him, why don't we believe in Him ? We always want to know rather than believe. We forget that all our knowledge, which arise from some biological perceptors processed by the highly biased faculty called logic, are also nothing more than belief - true as long as not proved false. That brings back the question who created whom.

God created us for his amusement, if you wanna hear god laugh tell him your plans.
I think God was created by us to compensate for our questions of the universe. You may have noticed that the more we come to understand our universe, the less belief there is in God. How many astronomers are deeply religious, or mathmeticians? Why are our philosophical fathers so wary of religion? Einstein was a "jew" but he did not truly believe. Gallileo was an atheist. There is a reason for that. They have a higher understanding of the universe around them, therefore they have less need for a "God" to explain the unexplained.

God is more of an ideal, then an actual celestial being. I guess we just conjured him up, as we try to comfort ourselves in this lonely world. In the old days we needed him so we could explain all the mysteries of our world. but now, we're slowly beginning to understand our world, and needing him less and less. It's safe to say that one day, science will destroy god, and perhaps all religion. I guess that explains why there are so many atheist in the world these days, just another step up the evolutionary chain.

A desire to parent is not necessarily a discomfort or a sign of weakness.
To desire to help people in need is not a discomfort or a weakness either.
Because God desired to parent 2 races (angelic and human), it doesm't warrant a lack within Himself. He didn't need to do it or have something lacking within Himself. He simply desired to parent.
