The Rock of Today Stinks Big Time !
Please do not try to match it up to the Classics !

i guess its up to you. id say you cant really compare, because in 20 years todays music would be "classic" and the old "classic" rock might not even be considered good. yea i dont like the emo stuff that much, indie music is good though

F*CK NO. Music today is f*cking terrible. Can you imagine all this screaming, nonsensical emo rock, or whiny, b!tchy rock being EVER considered a classic?

You cant beat old rock but the kids are tying. Some of the new stuff aint too bad, the prophets are doing well but I think a lot of newbys are trying to be different but they just come over as weird.

The only good rock today is coming from the old school bands! These new bands need to be original. It seems like one half decent one comes out and 25 other ones come out that sound exactly the same! I like to call it the White Zombie effect....White Zombie broke up and now every band wants to sound just like them!
AND FOR GOD SAKES...somebody SING instead of GROWL!!!!!!!!

No but I am digging that track Lemmy did with Probot called Shake Your Blood! Its like most of the newer musicians got the advantage of having our current technology but not as much of the heart for making real rock n' roll. I did like most of Staind's first album, Korn were great at first but they are not my thing so much now, Nickelback I am not down with, also most of these latter day Santana collaborators just don't do anything for me.

actually, thouh there ae some prety neat songs out there i think that the classics are still he best. i mean, thats where all the music came rom right? and even though they may be a tad corny (even to me) they're still pretty good when you think about how they were composed....

hmmm, some are as good as those classics but nothing can beat the classics....oh yeah, the killers songs are great and i love flowers' voice....oh so passionate...just a thought :)
