They have more exposure, you answered the question in your question. Other actresses are internationally known, Indian actresses are only known in India!

Coz Indian film actreeses only know how to boast and to overact.They could be called Over acteing creatures.And such people can only fool a small population and make that country go gaga over them.I mean look at Aishwarya RAI.She has been pathetic in almost all fims.Rani except for Black cant act.Preity is quite good but not as good as Halle bERRY OR Hilary Swank(Everyone plz dont feel offfended,there was no other alternative)and as for the others they better sweep the floor than act

There r various reasons for it : (1) International female actors r much more professional. They never arrive late on the film sets.
(2)They r not that emotionally attached to their heroes/lovers/husbands as their Indian counterparts are.
(3)International female actors go to any extent to look good.They do regular exercise & maintain their figure.
(4)International female actors do not have headweight like their Indian counterparts.They r ready to satisfy their fans by posing in their birthday suits.

They've been famous for a longer period. Plus, aren't the Indian actors and actresses trying to ape the west, anyway? If they, themselves, want to be somebody they're not or attach more importance on looking like Europeans, then there's not much hope for the others.

Well, the Indian movies are released and watched mainly in the Indian subcontinent which are known as Bollywood movies. Onthe other hand, Hollywood movies are released all over the world so that is why Hollywood actors are more famous.

well according to me its so because international female actress act in international language english which is more commonnly understood .. used n seen by greater amount of people than indian movie
