My high heels squeak too. They used to rub something chronic. First thing is to work out where they rub most, and rub vasiline on thos bits (lots) a couple of hours before you want to wear them. Only if they are leather....it soaks it up and softens it.

Squeaking can be caused by that by the 2 materials rubbing, but I find it is because my shoes are pointy; so they suck in air and expell it through the 'lace' work, so when I walk it sounds like I am f*rting. Maybe I should get some new shoes??

The friction caused between two material such as the rubber sole and concrete floor produces the squeak sound.
