Ummm..wormholes? That is if one is inclined to believe that UFOs do visit earth.

Personally, I am on the fence about the issue.

There are no inter dimentional doors. People often confuse dimension with alternate universe. Other spatial dimentions are not some hidden away place, they exist very close to us. I once read an article in Discover I think it was in which the author, who's name I can't remember though it may have started with a G who explained higher dimentions as paraphrased below...

Say you have a table and on the surface of that table is 2D land where everyone perceives things only in 2D. In this world there is width and length but no depth. Now say a can of soda is sitting on the table. You see the can as a 3D object because you're in 3D land, the can has length, width, and depth, but in 2D land, they see the can as a circle on the surface of the table. Now you pick the can up, the people in 2D land see the can disappear because "up" is not a direction that people in 2D land can perceive.

So a dimention is really a place in which an attribute of something can be expressed. In the case of the can, it's depth was expressed in the 3rd dimention.

Think of space/time as a single dimension, and this entire universe is only one of them. They are "layered" infinitely (the gap in energy levels as taught in quantum mechanics is a key indicator of this). They don't necessarily have the same limits, and they function similar to waves. The waves don't have the same wavelengths, so they don't have the same frequencies. That being the premise, the waves would at times be in-phase and out-of-phase. When two of the waves come into phase, the two universes they represent would have points of contact. Any physical object moving between them would have to be able to operate within the limits of the next universe, this is something that present theories (mathematical) conclude as impossible. However, there are flaws in our mathematical system, as evidenced by the practical use of the square root of negative one in electronics. Mathematically, this isn't possible, but it works or we wouldn't have these computers.
Intuitively, I suspect some UFO sightings are human beings who have been existing in another time/space continuum and use opportunities of in-phase t/s planes to try and make contact with us. That;s just my mind wandering though. As it stands, I don't know of any solid evidence of UFO's with an extraterrestrial origin. Angels could be doing the same thing. This could explain how some are able to prophesy the future, since in other t/s planes our possible futures have already happened. Oh, one more thing. Most of the infinite planes are actually blanks, waiting for God to paint life into them. I say most because they are being created in infinite number and will do so for eternity. The creator is awesome, and he needs a lot of canvases upon which to express himself. I think he likes to teach art also, and is raising a whole pack of promising new artists. I have a feeling you're one of them, or you wouldn't have asked that question.

inter-dimensional doors are only created two ways, one the instant a nuclear bomb goes off and destroys all matter ripping a whole in space or thru the use of halucigens. give peace a chance, pot not war

We know the interdimensional doors exist, but the technology and physics involved to understand them is beyond our limited intellect at this time. The alien races that travel through them are so much more advanced than us, its comparable to us observing neanderthal cavemen...but basically these peole are travelling through gates back and forth to the 'multiverse'.
