its the ago old battle of good vs evil, the quest for freedom and self discovery and the desire for redemption. the movies are really a fairy tale that take place in outer space. these topics appel to everyone regardless of gender race or religous backround and that is what makes them so popular. also the fact that they have some of the coolest special effects in hollywood helps out .
