If you're flying non-stop from London's Gatwick via British Airways, the flight time is approx. 8 hrs.

It took me 11 hours from Pennsylvania to London. I don't want to do that again except for the fact that I liked England. By the way, it was similar time from London to San Francisco. The reason is because they flew us over the North Pole rather than straight across. Gave me the jitters to think about going down in an environment like that. Survivors wouldn't be survivors long at the North Pole.

we flew from gatwick 3 years ago and going again in december it takes 9 hours to fly there a bit less coming back if the wind is in the right direction
