the first newspaper in print, called "Relation aller fürnemmen und gedenckwürdigen Historien" (Collection of all distiguished and commemorateable news) is published byJohann Carolus from Strasbourg, France . the World Association of Newspapers accepted evidence that Carolus's newspaper was printed in beginning in 1605.
India 's first news paper may be' Times of India '.
and 'mumbai samachar' is running oldest newspaper from 1800's 1822 or something. (considered)

It is from Bengal.
The Bengali newspaper Sangbad Kaumudi, published from Calcutta, was the first . Of course it is the first indian vernacular newspaper.
The first Indian English newspaper was prinited at BOMBAY., BY RUSTOMJI KESHASPATHI in the year 1777.
