I dont know what the topic was about but she told another lady who was going through a breakup that MEN are people we meet all the time. They come and go & we shouldn't base our lives on them. She continued to say that best friends (between women) are rock solid & we should treasure those more than men.

As a man, I cant agree with that statements at all! I mean, I know more hapily married women than single, women with best friends. Even the few that I know dont seem truly fulfilled. How can Tyra Banks make these statements since she is so beautiful & have men falling at her feet all the time. Does she really have insight on this topic?

I only care because I felt insulted by what she said. I am a caregiving male.

What the hell does Tyra Banks know about reality...she is gorgeous, I'll give her that...but she is a pampered celebrity who is completely out of touch with reality...

Of course she is not correct but then i'm a guy too but perhaps she wanted to play to her target audience(women). remember this is a woman who was supposed to pertend to be a stripper in a club and then when it was her turn to dance did not strip(she's been naked for shoots by cameramen for years and can't take her clothes off with makeup disguising herself?

Every now and then women go through the "all men are b*****ds" phase. She was just articulating it differently. As you said, it's not permanent, only a recurring phase which we may well deserve!.

She's talking about single women who live to have a boyfriend or can't be happy unless they are constantly in a relationship. She isn't talking about married people who are happy.

she probably was trying to make single women who long for a relationship feel better... but then it could be true for some women...
