I defy ANYONE to actually come up with a letigimate rhyme for the word ORANGE. I have never found one. Give me a rhyme for orange and get 10 points. (Must of course be a real word.) Good luck to all who even try it.

As for Silver, there is Wilber. (That's pretty close.) Now find one word for Orange that is as close.

According to the Oxford Rhyming Dictionary, orange has something of a "half-rhyme" in the word lozenge. This means that the consonants are the same, but vowels in some of the syllables differ.

It sounds a bit like a cop out, but I suspect that the closest we'll get without variations of orange itself (like anti-orange).

♡Well, I learned that no word in the English language rhymes with month, orange, silver, or purple.
But how about TWO words?

Orange - door hinge (^_-)-☆
He threw the orange and it hit the door hinge...(*^o^*)
Oh well, just thought I'd give it a try.
Interesting Q.!♡

☆~EDIT: One of my co workers keeps insisting that 'syringe' definitely rhymes with orange...(*^o^*) She insisted I add that here! \(^∇^)/

Oh dear god. I know this one I swear! There's only one word that rhymes with Orange, but I just heard it the other day and I completly forgot. When you find out, please let me know so I can once again sound utterly stupid.

There is only one word that rhymes with Silver, too. Forgot that, too. Damn!

I wonder why you keep asking this question when it is pretty obvious that the nearest rhyming word is doorhinge which is in the American pronunciation. We're not pretty smart. We're just ordinary people with a common sense.
