Get yourself a "Monster" cable. That's what they are called. Go to Best Buy.

I suppose you are trying to connect your PC to the TV.

If your TV have a DVI/HDMI port you can try using it.

You do have to understand that the DVI and S-Cables carries only video. The RGB cables you mention are RCA cables and they carrie video signals in the yellow cable, audio signals in the RED+White cables.

RCA and S-video cables carries analog signals while DVI/HDMI cables are digital. Hence video quality from best to worst: DVI/HDMI, S-Video, RCA

And get shielded cables, the picture quality will be better.

DVI,Hdmi,and Component are the best. I agree get shielded cables, but you dont need to waste money on monster cables...
