an old poem:
I eat my peas with HONEY; I've done it all my life. It makes the peas taste funny, but it keeps them on the knife.
Eat it however it's convenient for you to drizzle on pound cake or fat free vanilla ice cream. If you LIKE the way honey tastes, put it into your tea. I personally prefer those pinkor blue artificial sweetreners and some skim milk in my tea. Then I have a Kelloggs low-fat cinnamon Pop Tart

I thought it is best when it is used in cold condition. It is not possible to make artificial honey, however it is possible to add artificial flavors like acacia, eucaliptus, .... make sure you buy the one where the honey comes from bees that fed from an acacia plant, or another kind of flower... Honey can soothe your mood, make you at ease, and cause you to fall asleep more relaxed. But as with many fruits and veggies you benefit the most from natural 'raw' honey. Meaning not chilled or cooked.

Honey is soothing and moisturising. I use a little of it as a moisturising mask (with yogurt). It also tastes great.
It is said that bacteria can't survive in honey, so I guess it should be good for you.
I use it to sweeten my tea and cocoa and sometimes in dessert, although it doesn't lend itself well to cooking because it goes black. A plain teaspoon full of honey before bed is also supposed to help activate your liver to work while you sleep (hibernation diet) and help you lose weight.

honey or rather the propolis in it works antibiotic and antifungizid (how do you spell that in english?). The honey itself is a very fast energy giver, helps when you have a cough in tea or pure. I have a disgusting but extremely helpful recipe against cough: take a toe of garlic, squash it and swallow it together with a spoon of honey do that 2 times - your cough will be gone!
