There's a bunch of Them for the psychological scare would be the exorcist the original one with Linda Blair and the original Omen. The Gore/Scary would be the Dawn of the Dead.

When The Wind Blows. It was an animated film about an old couple who try to live through a nuclear attack. It was made it all the more scary by the fact that it was made by the same people who made 'The Snowman'.

when i was a kid a rerun of the old boris karloff movie(he's my favorite),black sabbath-the first story about the female undertaker who steals the ring off the dead witchs'body,scared the crap out of me i was paranoid for along time to top it off my mom was involved in the occult and conducted seances in an already haunted house. now nothing scares me except the wrath of GOD.but one of the best scary flixs i've ever seen is a movie called "burnt offerings "starring karen black, and the late great bette davis,excellent preformance by anthony james.....he was sooooooo sexy,and the great oliver reed.(lee montgomery was in it too.)

I find movies scarier when they could be real...like Sleeping with the Enemy. That hubby was a freakin' piece-of-work, wasn't he?
I also thought Primal Fear was pretty darn scarey in the end. Sent chills up my back in the last scene.

I still remember when i was young which i watch the hellraiser tat quite scary. Probably now d most scary movie is from japan n korea.

The original scary movie we all watched as children was Bambi. Seeing Bambi lose his mother was horrifying.
