The official story obviously has a lot of holes in it. I believe we should not take the cover-up stories and conspiracies to be fact, but they certainly show that there is a lot that needs explaining.
For one, there certainly were controlled demolitions of which there has been no explanation why.
Obviously the official story was not fully rehearsed and thought-out because it is indeed an embarassment to find some of these supposed 'hijackers' are alive in other parts of the world.
Not to mention that some phonecalls to family members from plane passengers aren't convincing and some have come up as being doctored.
Certainly it seems Silverstein was a little late in knowing the game as he admitted to a controlled demolition on building 7. It's too late for him to retract that and it stands as proof there is a wider conspiracy than the official 9/11 story.

I am all for questioning everything, I'm a Liberal, but this just doesn't seem worthwhile. I haven't seen any evidence that points to this kind of thing.

I do have some legitimate questions though, like what the FBI did with alleged video that was confiscated from surrounding businesses near the Pentagon? There is a lot of other evidence that needs to be released, like the Flight 93 audio recording.

I do think the government didn't try hard enough to stop the attack and I'm not just going to sit around and be happy that we haven't had another, like Bush and the cons want us to.

There is a book called "The Heart of a Soldier." Rick Rescorla, a retired Colonel
& one of the heros of Ira Drang, was in charge of security for Stanly Morgan Witter in the WTC.

In 1990, he hired his friend, Ex-Special Forces retired Capt Dan Hill to do a security check.
Recommendation-close the basement since it posed a threat via a car bomb. The Port Authority rejected the report. Then 1993 happened...

So after the 93 attack, Dan Hill (he had converted & was now a Muslim) was rehired & infiltrated Mosques. The so called "Tower of the Jews" was talked about by Arabs. Bottomline, Hill (sometime former CIA operative) said the WTC
would likely be targeted next by an airplane...
it just seemed a logical progression that could cause the most damage.

Again the Port Authority rejected the idea for more security as being too expensive. A copy of the report was given to NYC police. Earlier the FBI rejected Hill's researched & ready to go proposal to asssinate Bin Laden...

Rescorla initiated twice monthly fire drills & told others to dismiss Port Authority PA sound system messages. In fact, when the WTC was hit, the Port Authority told everyone via the PA system to "go back to your desks. The building is secure..."

Rescorla, in talking to the Port Authority that day, was told to stop evacuating people. Rescorla told them to "bugger off." He then continued evacuating his 2,700 employees... Rescorla died in the building after going back in for one last sweep.

This is a Pearl Harbor. Israel needed our help & America ignored her. Americans didn't know or care? enough about Israel...how badly she needed our Army since the Arabs were killing so many Jewish in the MiddleEast.

Is 9/11 is a celebration of incompetence? Or is it Jew hating authors writing propaganda saying it was a conspiracy? (not directed to anyone here, it's just a question since the propaganda on all sides is so so much.)

I didn't want to at first, but my husband has paid alot of attention to the Bush administration and he suggested that to me sometime ago. After reading several articles and watching alot of the political programs, yes, I do believe it.

The amount of time it took on 9/11 from beginning to end was substantial enough for our government to have reacted via air and many lives could have been saved. The minute that all of the planes were off of their designated route should have been the minute Bush should have engaged our military to find out what was going on and stop it.

It was a perfect excuse to start a war, unfortunately it wasn't with the ones who actually caused the horrific events. He immediately picked up where the previous President Bush left off - he didn't get to fininsh once Clinton was elected. So, the current President seems to have taken care of that and continues even after Hussain was captured - what did he have to do with 9/11? Did he ever look for OSAMA at all? Where is OSAMA now and what has he got planned for us next? Will our military be here to protect our country or still be where they are now, being killed one by one and for what? I hope our country is still standing when the next Presidential election is to be held.

Sensation, sensation, sensation. The only reason i can think of... All the statements in the questions are explainable. It seems to me that conspiracy theorists find the most unlikely, sensational answers the most convincing. But there also is a truth out there...

What does struck me is the fact that the hotel a few blocks away collapsed too after a couple of hours. I can not explain that.
