Students, by the very definition, aren't qualified to do anything yet.
So if there's a disaster, you can only follow orders.
If you must take the lead, you must offer opinions, not advise.
And pray to God you don't get sued.

I think students can do any thing they want.my opinion is that each & every school must have a disaster managment group in there school by selecting students who want to help & can.Not only in school in every district of india there should be o disaster managment office. I think this will work best than club, disco, amusement parks etc. i think only in this era only we can something for our poor illiterate indians & for our enviroment.

here i am writing about students who are in college. many colleges have student activities like National Cadet Corpse and National Social Service etc wherein students do lot of social work in times of disaster. students are young, energetic and so very motivated that they can be of great help to organizations who take up disaster management. they are ready to go to the disaster area and lend any kind of help, like distributing food and water supplies, assist to shift the ailing to the hospitals, take care of young children and can even join hands in building temporary tents or other kinds of residing sheds. in fact students are very open to do any kind of help as their minds are not yet tainted by prejudices.
