Put them in freezer. or.... This method is quick, easy, and effective. Pour heated vinegar onto gum. Then pour on a bit of vegtable oil and then dishwashing soap. Scrub with a brush. I then recommend washing garment to get all of the oil out of the fabric. Good Luck

You are going to think I'm nuts, but if you will get a can of
WD-40, and spray it on the garment it will remove it. The WD-40 will dissipate and will not harm the garment. You can find this stuff in most any hardware store, wal-mart, or k-mart in the automotive section. It is a lubricate made to free sticky mechanisms. If you will read the directions on the can it should tell you this is one of its uses. Good Luck!!

Ice is the easiest way, you rub it on the gum and then when it gets very cold you should be able to just lift it right up. If the pants shouldn't get wet you can put the ice in plastic wrap or bag first then rub it on the gum.

Get a cube of ice to harden it, then scrape off the bulk with a knife etc.. blade of some sort . Then rub over with eucalyptus oil ...leave for a couple of hours ..spray with a prewash spray and wash by hand concentrating on the spot.

Try freezing it with an ice cube on each side of it to stiffen it up, then scrape/crackle/chip away at the stuff with a kniffe edge.
Follow up on the leftover by trying melting it with gasoline, and wipe/blot it off with lots of Bounty paper towels.
