Yes it is. But not in one big 'change'.

The only change that takes place in the world is when we start to change our individual behaviour and attitudes about life. An individual effort effects the global outcome.

The problem becomes your definition of better. With so many different points of view, just look at this site, some hateful and violent, they could never think it was better unless someone else was suffering. All you can hope for is to offer some small change in your own circle of life and perhaps it will have a ripple effect. Some times just a smile can change a person's day. And they might carry that to another person and so forth. So smile at someone today and tell someone you love them. Have a nice day : )

Absolutely! Speaking from experience, it was a dear friend of mine that encouraged me toward my current profession. With a little encouragement and some wonderful advice she guided me to and thru my current career choice resulting in MY world being a much better place, not only for myself but for my family also. Her motivation and advice continue to work thru me to this very day (30 some odd years later).

I always look for the opportunity to make the same difference every day. You never know; that small word of advice or small word of wisdom, encouragement could inspire the next Martin Luther King or the next Oprah Winfrey, perhaps even the next Michael Angelo or John Lennon. Regardless of the level of fame or the contribution to society ALL have the capability to change the world for the better. I offer you a Question - Who’s World would you like to change for the better? Now, I suggest you do it.

Start changing yourself first then you could start your trouble about the world. You definitely cannot change the world but by making yourself a better man you can change yours as well as for those people around you.
