If you've got a steamer try that first before using chemicals, if its a plastic door try nail polish remover, not if it's wood though as it will remove the paint. If none of these are possible put some toothpaste on the mark and let it go hard, the stuff will come off with the toothpaste. Toothpaste is great also to use if you run out of sticky tape or drawing pins, to put things on the wall with, also great for inbetween ceramic tiles.

White spirit. You have to keep applying this with a cloth. Eventually the spirit will soak through the sticker and soften the glue.

Try using your hair dryer to heat the area of the sticker and carefully peel the sticker away.

Sugar soap is very good. I have a cuboard full of the stuff. But the i have kids. I need to buy it in bulk. It is far better than warm soapy water. You can buy it almost anywere. It will not damage paint work. And it good for almost all cleaning. Ceilings walls. Cooker hood. It a good bit of kit.

White spirits or nail polish remover - check a small area so you don't damage first. Or fairy liquid and a scouring pad takes a while to rub the sticky of but it works.
