Estimates are as "high" as 20%, but most people will not give you an honest answer if you ask them about breaking the law, and they are doing this to protect themselves, so we may never have accurate statistics unless it is made legal.

I read that around 40% of US population has tried marijuana and about 10-15% use it regularly.
This is questionable because people may not be honest about their usage due to its illegality in the States.
As a guess, I would say around 20% of Americans have smoked in the last 30 days.

most of the people l know do or have in the past, personally l don't like it l've tried it several times but really not impressed with the high it gives.lt feels more like a low.l would guess for people under 30 the answer would be about 75% in my area it may be different in different parts of the world.How ever there are other drugs that are legal such as coffee, tabacco or alcohol which are just as or even more harmful to the body which are legal in most parts of the world as much as 90% use some kind of drug in their daily routine.But l choose not to use any drugs because l just don't like them.
