oh, and i've lived in a and around london for 20 years of my life. so i can tell you about all the places to go, my point is is that when you move away you realise it was a rip off and there is so much more, London is not the place to be thats my point, and if you think it is then maybe you are just trying to impress those who don't know (big city light syndrome)

Well that is a bit of a negative way of looking at things - but I do agree with what you are saying - to an extent...

London is a huge city with almost 12 million people living here - so you are bound to come across all sorts and unfortunately there is a bad element. As a South African who hails from one of the most beautiful cities in the world (Cape Town!) some would say it would have been difficult for me to handle this place and after 8 years here I can say it aint for the fainted hearted! But I always say to people that London has the obvious elements that all big cities offer - long faces in the morning, over-crowded tubes, expensive living etc etc.. but it definately has heart - you can meet people from all over the globe on any given night. I regularly go to parties where there are 7 different nationalities in one room. Makes life interesting indeed and I think its the people you surround yourself with that make this place so much fun.

But one piece of advice I give to friends who make the journey to live in this big bad city is that one cant expect the good things to fall into your lap, you have to make a little bit of an effort to see the beauty in London. You have to get out there! Life isnt about going to work and going home and back again.

Some of the best times Ive ever had has been in this city. It has a buzz that you wont get anywhere else. Anything you want to do is on your doorstep and there are allot of things you can do for free or little cost. Have you ever taken a walk on Hampstead Heath? Summer or winter, its a beautiful place to get lost in! Or done a bicycle ride along the Thames path? Had a drink in St Katherines docks? Spent the day in Greenwich?

How about going for a curry in Brick Lane on a friday night? Or been to the flower market on Columbia Road on a sunday afternoon? My list goes on!!

And if you are a music fan - well this is paradise! This place is a Mecca for music talent.. and something I love is there are often free music concerts in summer along the southbank.

So my conclusion is, yes London is all the things you say it is.. but its also a heck of allot more! You dont have to become one of the bitter rude people you describe - Take the good with the bad, get yourself out there to explore the nooks and crannies (there are many!) and take some walks in green parks on the weekends.. some greenery always recharges my batteries when things get too hectic around here.

But if you dont like doing the things Ive listed here - you are probably better off living in suburbia...but I do hope you find the place that makes you happiest.

I cant see a deep rooted Southern Drawl setting up Aussie or some individuals who've such effective accents dropping it. i believe it ought to take years and frequently ensue to youthful people who dont have a thoroughly ingrained familiar accessory already. teenagers below 10 for representation. I actual have met many 1st technology migrants appropriate right here and a few persons I actual have spoken to who've been appropriate right here many an prolonged time nonetheless retainthe accrnt of their delivery. i believe that shows that they dont communicate English in the homestead so shop attuned to their very own language extra. English audio device ought to have not got any option so as they might communicate it extra, they are going to pick up and undertake extra of the sounds .
