Let me put it this way...A girlfriend without sex becomes a friend.To me the only difference between friendship and relationship is sex. Otherwise that would mean I have 5 girlfriends in reality!!!I get along very well and do everything with my female friends; but I don't have sex with them.Another example: If I have a girlfriend and then suddenly we break up, yet still hang together,the only difference will be: no sex!You could still remain in a relationship without sex, but to me it becomes frienship.

SEX is just a way to relax your mind and body..... its just calms down your stress .... it gives you pleasure.... but it can not satisfy the soul..... the soul is satisfied only by LOVE..... sex and love go hand in hand... but these days, some people have segregated sex from LOVE... they only go for physical satisfaction... they only think of it as stress reliever.... not as love.... that is called LUST....
if you love someone, you will have sex, (or how else will you breed..) but it is not only sex that keeps a relation together.... if it is going that way... than it wont go for long.... we can have sex only till the time we are young..... after that????
and by the way, it is very important for the people here to know as to what type of relationship you are talking about..... it can be anything.... you a relationship is based on sex, then well, it is a necessary condition for two people to be together... if it is based on love, then one dont actually take sex to be whole and sole thing... got it????

theres so many other qualities other than sex that keep a
relationship alive!!! first of all similar interests, open communication, caring the good times and the bad times
and of course Love all of these things keep a relationship thrinving and growing!!!

Sex alone cannot keep the ralationship alive. There has to be true love behind it. Without true love and concern, the relationship will not last.

no if you don't have a friendship or not able to talk then you have nothing. sex is a factor but it's nothing in keeping a relationship because anyone can make that connection with your partner but your friendship and your ability to communicate can only come around once. good luck!

Nope, not at all, my boyfriend and I made love after 3 years, and within this 3 years things weren't stable between us, but still our relationship survived because we did not want to loose each others and we're madly inlove with each other.. sex is not everything..

Sex is important, but Love is what matters. Because love leads to understanding, caring and it definately leads to sex. Evryone can have sex but some people make love.
