You still have 40+ years of living to do. Visit other countries if you wish. I have been to a few countries that would not interest you at all. South Korea, Viet Nam, Mexico.
Some that might be of interest are Canada and Japan. Anywhere in the Caribbean would be a good place for winter time vacation.

Oh HELL yes. I've been to Canada(1st trip when I was 12), Australia(when I was 16), the UK(in 2004 at the age of 29 sorry, didn't get to Ireland) and France. My next trip, I hope, is to the Philippines, India, or New Guinea.
My Partner is English, he left the UK for France when he was 17, and now lives with me in the USA. He's been here for the last decade.
Also note that the USA is four THOUSAND miles accross, so you don't run out of places to visit if you live in the US, ever.
Here's a page I built to give you some perspective:

Its really worth your time and money to travel. Many experiences and real eye-openers await you.

I am an American and lived in America for 33 years but then moved to Europe. Since then I have visited 26 countries and 5 continents. I think many Americans don't travel because they have been brainwashed to believe that America is the best and that they don't need to see anything else. It is a real shame because there are so many fantastic places and wonderful people in the world.

You should take off and explore Southern Italy and Capri as starters. Then in the winter season - go to Switzerland - Montreux and Zermatt - you will meet lots of very rich people. They would pay to have a strong young man around.

My parents took me to Europe when I was younger. But I haven't been out of the country since. I can't afford it-- but I wish I could travel all the time!

Yes, I do travel.
Mainly within Europe, but sometimes outside.
Broadens the horizons, makes you realize that home might not be so perfect (or imperfect) as you might imagine and also gives you a greater insight into how other nations 'do their stuff'.
