If you support George Bush it is hard to imagine responses like that which MrPleased gave. So much spitefulness.
If you are against Bush, people like MrPleased can't comprehend how people like NotComingBack could support such a man.
For your information MrPleased... Those who fought in WWII got it. They knew that to win a war you had to support your Commander in Chief. You may not like the man. You may not agree with his policies but you remained loyal to your country above all else. Remaining loyal to your country meant not trying to undermine your President. I think you are sorely confused if you believe that a large number of veterans from the WWII era would "come out of their graves and drag Bush down to hell".
I myself have problems with some of President Bush's policies but I would never not support my President in a time of war.
You refer to President Bush as a ruthless enemy. Just exactly who are you empowering when you make comments like that? You are empowering the *real* enemies of our country, those who want to destroy us. And what is pathetic is you can't see THAT.
As Americans we need to stop this petty bickering back and forth. It is accomplishing nothing but making getting our country through this successfully more difficult... Now... Can't you see that????

There were more Americans supporting the Nazis than many people believe. There was even a Nazi camp in New Jersey (camp nordland) with quite a few members prior to Germany's declaration of war. Several other states as well. Lots of American businesses involved with the Nazis, like Ford. Of course, nobody likes to talk about the dirty past here.
As to Bush.. I suggest you study up on economics, politics and history and you may find that America is not innocent here. We started dropping strategic bombs over Iraq 2 months before 9/11 and we started a war, even though we signed a treaty in San Francisco in 45 saying that we wouldn't do so. Sorry, but I cannot endorse a President and an administration that is in the business of killing innocent people over bogus intelligence.

I hate to tell you, bub, but you're mixing apples and oranges bigtime here.
Grandpa Prescott Bush was a Nazi and a Nazi profiteer.
My grandfather passed away not long ago, and he was one of those brave Americans who fought in WW II, at Normandy.
He died believing Bush is a Nazi. He said the only difference between Bush and Hitler is with Hitler it was Jews, with Bush it's Muslims. Hitler and Bush both swayed a Nation into doing their evil bidding by misusing Christianity to try to wipe out another world religion, a religion that is one of the two brother religions to Christianity. They perverted religion for personal gains in power and wealth from war profiteering. There is not much difference between Belzen and Auschwitz and Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo.
There is much evidence to support my grandfather's observations.
9/11 was a terrible, terrible thing, a National Catastrophe. But Iraq had nothing to do with it, and this sure as hell isn't how you go about fixing it:

We're still deeply in mourning five years later for three thousand lost Souls. So imagine how Muslims feel about this. And I am a Christian. A true one, not a christian-of-convenience. I do not see how a single true Christian cannot be sickened to the core by what "we're" doing right now.

Henry Ford, the man who founded the Ford car manufacturing company, sent Hitler $15,000 every year for his birthday. There were many Nazi-sympathetic Americans (should be noted Nazi was the shortening of National Socialist in German, a political party).
Being said, damn a jihadist, dont make George W. Bush right for what he does. His interests are oil and construction, nothing more. He's just doing as hes told, he lacks the intelligence to make decisions on his own (have you not seen him speak live?). Do you not know who the Skull & Bones are? Look it up for yourself.

Of course. And many naturalized Americans were arrested and had their citizenship revoked: the German-American Bund most notably. Two specimen law cases and a Web forum are linked below.
Goering's suicide was apparently enabled by an Ameican military officer sympathetic to him, and perhaps to Naziism generally. http://www.cumc.columbia.edu/news/reporter/archives/repo_v7n3_0011.html
Joseph P. Kennedy, Prescott Bush and many other notable Americans were sympathetic to Hitler (I always point out that Schickelgruber was Hitler's birth name and if he'd not changed it he'd never have made it in politics or war crimes.) Tyler Kent, a US Embassy code clerk, delivered secrets to the White Russians who passed them to the Nazis: http://www.vho.org/GB/Journals/JHR/4/2/Kent173-203.html There really are too many such stories to list, plus all the many who kept their views to themselves.
Not a fifth column in the sense of Salifists and Jihadis. For a lot of reasons including the very nature of Islam, which rejects civil sovereignty (in favor of sovereignty belonging to Allah).

There was a small clique of American Nazi supporters during World War II. There is a healthy pro Nazi, Aryan movement and fanatical right wing groupings in the US rigtht now.
Don't hide your head in the sand, or, simply see Jihadists behind every bush.

Many Americans supported the Nazi's including Pappy Bush. He was a Nazi profiteer. The president isn't trying to protect you, he invaded Iraq because he who controls Iraq controls the middle east. It's geo-politics and not related to terrorism. Of course it has radicalised a generation of muslims and made the world a much more dangerous place for you and for me.

I know that some hardcore rightwingers like Charles Lindbergh and the Silver Shirts supported the Nazi's. Sad but true.

From what I read it was one the reasons the government rounded up Japanese-Americans, German-Americans, and Italian-Americans.
While some of it was "random," there were a few spies for each one of the Axis that were rounded up.
