The design team always build enourmous houses for very deserving families that typically can't afford much. I was wondering if their property taxes skyrocket on their property, and how do they pay for the taxes on those homes? Do they get a break from the state?

Most of the contractors that build the houses give the families large amounts of money so they can relax in their new home... the money is used to pay for utilities, and any other bills they have to pay because of all the new things that were added to their house....

i think they would continue 2 pay what they have been paying since the new home was built. the purpose of the show is 2 give deserving families a nice home so wats the point of raising the taxes and wasting the effort to build that home if u know that family cant afford it..know wat i mean?
