Vitamin B2 or riboflavin deficiency causes cheilosis or cracking of the skin at the corners of the mouth. Lips skin defects may indicate a number of deficiencies. I recommend a high potency multivitamin, a B50 complex, and an essential fatty acid supplement daily. After your lips improve you can stop the B50 pill.
Good luck!

I think vitamin B12 deficiency causes this. Anyway you can eat multivitamin tablets which can cure this deficiency and for now u can use a lip ointment which comes in shape of lip stick which is available at all major medicinal stores and supermarkets. Dont worry it is common and can be reduced within 2 days!

No, it may be a sign that you are dehydrated. You need to drink more fluids and get some chap stick in the mean time. Or it could be from sunburn/windburn or the weather. Chapstick it!

In home remedies use top layer of milk (boiled and cooled milk to room temperature) and apply at the affected areas before night sleep and at times when free at home.
