Tiger is way better than any windows OS, but unfortunately Macs are too expensive for home use. If they dropped the price of their machines the useability of the OS would kill Microsoft dead.

Windows XP is the one that I like the most, because I can use it for leisure, work, and etc that Mac OS cannot do.

Mac OS Tiger, I only use it for Photoshop or any video or graphic editing.
Currently I use my Mac only for iTunes music share.
May be a web server in the future. =)

To answer a question with a question. Who In the WORLD has the money to experiment with multiple systems.

If you want the cheapest way and are a layman go windows.

The mac is outragiously expensive and it seems has layman snob appeal.

If you are a real geek I recommend Linux.

Linux requires a level of understanding far beyond the average layman.
