running late for work this morning but was still pegging her washing out, i said to her that there was a saying for what she was doing but i couldn't remember it. it goes something like " may as well be hung for a lion than a lamb" i know that doesn't sound right.
CAN ANYONE HELP??

Might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb." Because a sheep is bigger and has more meat, so if you are going to steal , steal big. In this case, be late a lot since you will be late. The same idea as my favorite, which my dad used a lot when I was a kid. "If you are going to be a bear, be a grizzly."

In other words, she going to get into trouble for being late by 20 minutes, may as well make it for half hour....(wont make any difference to the amount of telling off she will get)......
