Did you know that people with faith heal faster than those that don't? People have actually been healed with prayer and laying of hands. And I don't count those TV preachers. I am a priest and I can tell you some healing stories that will cause tears to come to your eyes.

I have been present when it happend many many times. It has happened to me and my family through out our lives...

I will tell you a story of it happening as I was laying hands on a new born baby that was not breathing and turning blue! I asked the frantic doctor if I could lay my hands on the baby and say a prayer...he just handed me the baby of my friend and I said a prayer...more a command using my prieshood powers and the baby began breathing!

Alot of people say that it is mind over matter of the person being healed but this was a newborn.

I raised a woman from her sick bed in the same manner...she was so sick at the time and she was by herself with 4 little children and she asked me to do it...I just prayed and layed my hands on her head. I felt an electrical force flow from me down my arms through my hands and then I cammanded the sickness to depart from her and it did! She got up and offered to fix us breakfast as it was early morning...

This was not done in a crowed of people but by ourselves in quiet faith. It is experienced constantly through out our Church.

So, yes, faith has a lot to do with the healing of sickness. The above are only a few of the experience that I have had as a layman ordained priest in our Church...

Hope that helps

i really hope he's not teaching you to have faith in god rather than proper techniques of nursing.
