Jihad is something that Muslims do in many different ways for many different reasons. Keep in mind that while some Muslim people hate America, this is not typical of Islam! In fact, the very word "Islam" comes from a root word meaning "peace."

Well a nice and innocent minded question and i just love to answer it.
The US government has done a lot of political corrections around the world to suite its needs and in this course has made many enemies. unfortunately, in most of the cases,what the americans have done was by force and by supressing popular feelings in that region.Coming to the "jihadist",you must understand that NO RELIGION CALLS FOR KILLING FELLOW HUMANS and ISLAM is no exception(quran says all christians and jews are brothers of muslims bcoz they believe in the same god,the god of abraham)and now if u look at the problems in the world they r political and not religious...
well, any white in some restive regions like kashmir,palestine,sudan may be considered as their enemy and may risk his life....rest assured you r our brother and will always be whether u r from US or EUROPE

It depends on which particular "Jihadists" you are referring to. The ones that took 3000 lives on 9/11 hate America for their occupation of the "Holy Land" of Saudi Arabia (military base), and for other perceived injustices of the "infidels". I don't know what it is their religion that allows them to commit murder in the name of God. But it's been done over and over again in history. Just look at the Crusades in midevil times. Murder in the name of God, or let's show God how much we love him by killing his children. They don't hate you personally, just that you are a citizen of a country they see as morally bankrupt and evil.
As for me, I KNOW that even their god will give them a nice reward of eternal damnation for distorting an otherwise acceptable religion.

They hate us because of many reasons. One being, we support Israel, the country they despise, it is a Jewish country, and Islam facists, want "Death to the Jews, Death to America" the feud of the Jews date all the way back to when Moses led the slaves out of Egypt. Read up on bible for that.
And the fact that we are "friends" with Royal Family in Saudi Arabia, that is holy land and the Jihadists find it very tainting for allowing, "Western Infidels" on the sacred land. That led to them trying to scare Saudi Arabia, they blew up the Khobar Towers in the late nineties. It obviously didn't work.
Also, they do not like our Western Culture, they see it as corrupt and horrible. Just because we don't make our women dress up and cover every part of their body or else kill them for being infidels, they hate us. Also, it is not a Islamic faith country, Jihadists are under the belief they have to spread Islam all over the world to make "perfect" and to be praised and get awesome stuff when they die and go to Heaven. So, whoever disagrees with their ways, they will behead or slit throats and throw down a well, in the name of Allah, under their twisted version of Islam.
It doesn't matter who you are, if you are American, Liberal or Republican, supporter of Jews, and/or go against them in anyway and do not meet their demands and twisted ideology. They will attack you or kill you in the most brutal of ways. These are people who smile and are proud of their children strapping bombs around themselves and going out suicide bombing to kill in the name of Allah and Mohommad, to earn their place in Heaven with 74 mansions with 74 virgins. They hate anyone that goes against them and has a free country.

They hate the west and it's people because they have been taught by their religion that we are "infidels" and they are the master race. Did you see how they treat "infidels" they saw the head off with a sword while praising "Allah" They will not rest until the Infidels are terminated. THEY HATE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY so choose your side.

americans.....and all countries behind them...am a Pilipino and our government is against terrorism....there are many innocent lives lost b'cuz of our governments stand...i hate extremist but not MUSLIMS...

Americans hate every one & thing that is diffrent then what they are.
They hated us during the appartheid ere, now that, that is finally resolved, they want nothing to do with us, and has moved on to Iraq, but dont worry....
Once they have molded you into what they want you to be like, they move on to the next country.
