just be honest with the human resource manager about how you feel. don't expect every time you might have what you want because life always start in the lowest, if you know what i mean. theres other jobs that does cashiering like clothing stores and video stores. good luck my friend.

Don't worry about it. Just quit.
Companies layoff people all the time without blinking an eye.
Look out for No. 1.

I would personally stick around for a month or two, simply out of respect for those that gave you the job because, as you had mentioned, they did after all, invest their time and money to have you as part of their "team."
You have only been working there 4 days, perhaps in due time, you will be asked to be cashier. If things seem to be getting worse with employees or your position, you could always request other details.
Besides, if you ever do put your current job on your resume, it would be rather embarrassing to say you worked one week--unreliable they think you to be.
Hang in there.

Jobs are sometimes meant to be tough. My advice is don't quit just yet. Give it some more time. Apply elsewhere too. When you get another job, then quit.

It's your life so go ahead & quit. Life's too short to be miserable at your workplace & something else will come along before you know it. Good luck.
