One of the basic themes in ancient greek tragedy is that the life threads of human beings are controlled by the gods.
Hecabe ~ Antigone: importance of burial; centrality of family relationships
Antigone: personal/family relationships (Polyneices as brother) cross with social/political relationships (Polyneices as enemy of city).
Women as victims - Antigone, Polyxena, Hecabe (though n.b. context of male/male violence)
Male antagonists - Creon, Polymestor
Male victims of female violence: Polymestor, Heracles - in the latter case, the female is a goddess.
