how do i convert pro tools audio files to WAV or mp3?

i just got from the studio my original recordigns on a pro tools audio format :S and i can not open them because i need the hardware, i tried to install the pro tools free, but appearantly i need windows 98 to run it, so it is not an option then, so, does anyone knows what can i do to conver this files to mp3 or, better, lossless WAV?
