The only ones I can think of at the moment are "Bambi," "Fox & the Hound," "Finding Nemo," and the "Lion King."
You people are so dumb. First off, the person asking the question said "ends up dead," and many of the movies you've listed just don't mention the parents at all. Second, just because they're not mentioned doesn't mean they're dead. And third, many kids do grow up with only one, or sometimes even neither of their parents, so there's nothing wrong with Disney showing that. And at some point children are going to be without their parents, and their parents are going to pass away. And children growing up without one or both parents need to be shown that they'll get along alright, even though it'll be hard, and children with parents need to understand that their parents can be taken away suddenly and tragically. I don't understand why people make such a big deal out of this and KEEP ASKING THE SAME QUESTION over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over...

The only Disney movie I can name with both parents alive at the beginning and end off the top of my head is "Mulan," though in "The Little Mermaid" it's never specified where Ariel's mother is. I think it puts the main characters into an immediate sympathetic role and also many of the characters are a young age (maybe 15-18, which is also done to relate them more to the age group the movies are aimed at), and no one wants to have to watch as two parents hash out what both feel is right for their child. So, in my opinion, its done for sympathy and convenience.

pocahontas - you never really get to hear about her mum
dumbo
beauty and the beast - you never really get to hear about Belle's mum
fantasia
aladdin - jasmine's father vanished, then again, he did come back and change the law, but you never get to hear what happened with Aladdin's parents. all you know is that he's a homeless guy
and not to mention pinocchio who didnt have any parents as he wasnt a real boy till the end
then again, wendy's parents are alive at the start and end of 'peter pan' and kiara's parents are alive in 'The Lion King II'. also, 101 dalmatians.
p.s. some of these movies that others are putting are not really Walt Disney movies as he died back in 1966

Can't name 'em all, but Bambi's definitely the saddest and, I think, traumatized me the most as a child.
