I moved to Alabama from NJ because mom is in her 80’s and dad is close to 90 and they need help. Mom is in the first stages of Alzheimer's and has epilepsy and dad does not have to patience any more to deal with that. They both need help with the groceries and house cleaning as well as their personal care. I am the oldest child and disabled and not able to work so my siblings decided that I should be the one to go as I would not have to give up a job not realizing that some of the cleaning is beyond my capabilities and I have to hire out some of it, but I’m glad to be able to help them as they have always been good to me.

I moved from Sydney to Perth in Australia 10 years ago due to my ex husband getting a transfer here. I did not want to come here but I love it in Perth and would never live in Sydney again.

I had been thinking of visiting Sarajevo for a longish while, and then I was offered a job. It is a city still trying to come back to life. It is sometimes depressing to be here, but people are trying.

I caught my ex husband in bed with my best friend. He wanted to marry her so I did not want to be living in the same town as them and have to see them every day together (pair of smug idiots) so I asked my uncle and aunt if I could move in with them for 6 months in London til I could work out what I wanted to do. 8 years later I am still here, I met the love of my life 2 years ago and as much as I want to leave London I do not want to leave without him, he needs to be here for his job for at least another 3 years so I am happy to stay with him.
